Synopsis: A collection of parables that focus on the kinds of people found within the Kingdom of God. It begins with the parable of the wicked tenants who kill the Master’s Son (Jesus). At the end of that parable, Jesus says, “the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits.” This then propels the rest of the production as we see the people that are producing the fruits of the kingdom that come through faith in the Son – the forgiven, the merciful, the humble, the laborers, the charitable. This piece ends with a charge to the audience to let their “light shine before others”, just as they’ve seen exemplified through the various characters in this piece.
